Four
months ago, Herman Hartono, a middle-aged man, was on his phone whilst driving.
Distracted, he didn’t notice a 9-year-old girl, Anya Suriati crossing the road
and knocked her down, killing her instantly. Flustered, he made a rash decision
to bury her and destroy all evidence.
On
his way back home, disorientated and dazed, he saw his son talking to a girl
who looked exactly like Anya Suriati. That girl was actually Anya’s twin
sister, Tanya Rosilawati. Still in a state of confusion, he envisioned the situation
as Anya’s spirit who was pestering his son.
Coming
to his instincts, he rushed over and tried to stab her. Alas, he stabbed his
own son, who tried to stop him instead. Fortunately for Tanya, she managed to
flee from the scene unharmed. Ridden with guilt and shame from his sinful
nature, Herman took his own life.
As
for Tanya, till today, her whereabouts are still unknown. But it is rumored
that she is still haunted by her sister’s tragic death, images from the past
and voices from the dead…
